The Community began in Talisay City in 1998 and has since taken root in other places — across the Visayas and Mindanao, and as far as Tasmania. Each house keeps its own founding day.

Each house of the Community is a place where its members live, pray and serve together — and where anyone is welcome to come and pray with them.
They are not all alike. The mother house in Talisay is where the Community began. The formation house is where its priests are prepared. The communities gather members in a city or province, each keeping its own founding day; the chapels and smaller houses carry the mission further out; and overseas, the Community serves in Australia.
